Downey Unified School District is excited to offer a fee-based full day Early Education program at Pace Education Center for the 2024-2025 school year. Children must be fully potty trained, between 3 - 4 years old, and not eligible for TK or Kgn based upon their date of birth. Children will receive developmentally appropriate learning experiences and engaging enrichment activities from caring and qualified staff. A focus on California Preschool Learning Foundations, alignment with elementary standards and curriculum, access to 21st Century technology, and exposure to other languages and cultures will facilitate a seamless transition into any one of our robust Transitional Kindergarten and / or Kindergarten classrooms. Our innovative Early Education program known as Leap will be available from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Lunch, nap time, and an opportunity for an afternoon snack are included in the daily schedule. Families can choose the option of sending their child with a daily lunch or purchasing a lunch plan.
