Downey Unified's Leap Early Education Program is available beginning June 10, 2024 - July 19, 2024 for all eligible children ages 3 - 5 years old. No classes on June 19th or July 4th & 5th holidays. We will receive students in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm at Pace Education Center.

Downey Unified School District is excited to offer a fee-based full day Early Education program from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday at Pace Education Center for the Summer of 2024. Children must be fully potty trained, between 3 - 5 years old, and currently enrolled in Leap. Children will receive developmentally appropriate learning experiences and engaging enrichment activities from caring and qualified staff. The program will maintain a focus on the California Preschool Learning Foundations utilizing the Exercise Study from the Creative Curriculum and incorporate engaging enrichment opportunities for summer fun. Lunch is available for purchase at an additional $162 for the 6-week session. Nap time is included in the daily schedule as well as an opportunity for afternoon snack.
Registration starts on 03/20/2024 and ends on 06/14/2024.
